European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless
Local Housing Allowance – the new way in which housing benefit operates for people living in private rented accommodation – will come into effect across the whole of Scotland on 7th April 2008. This one day mini-conference, taking place at the SCSH offices in Edinburgh, will be focused on making practical preparations for the smooth introduction of the new system as well as identifying areas where clarification is still needed from the Department of Work and Pensions.
Places will be limited so early booking is recommended.
